Not a single tariff was removed. No trade barriers were eliminated. Nine EU member states still have not ratified CETA, leaving Canadian exporters without the full market access they were promised.

Meanwhile, the EU’s carbon tariff threatens $2.8 billion in Canadian exports, adding further pressure on Canadian steel and aluminum workers already facing significant trade challenges.
