The $750 million gun confiscation program is targeting the wrong people.

While law-abiding, licensed firearms owners are targeted, most firearms used in violent crime are illegally smuggled across the border and used by repeat violent offenders.

After years of Liberal policies, violent gun crime has risen while mandatory jail time for serious gun offences has been weakened, catch-and-release bail has put repeat offenders back on the streets, and illegal firearms continue to flow into Canada.
