For far too long, they have suffered under a brutal theocratic regime that exports terror, fuels instability, and threatens communities here at home and abroad.

At the same time, Canadians are watching a Prime Minister who can’t take a clear position. In just days, he has taken multiple, contradictory stances on the conflict in the Middle East, leaving allies uncertain and Canadians divided.

With global energy supply chains in limbo as a result of this conflict, Canada has an opportunity, and a responsibility, to step up. We have the resources to support our allies, stabilize markets, and provide a secure, democratic alternative to hostile regimes.
