Canada must defend its economic sovereignty.
March 11, 2026
Canada cannot afford to be naïve in a world where trade is a tool of power.
Authoritarian regimes like China don’t separate commerce from strategy. They use trade, minerals, and finance to pressure free nations and bend them to their will.
India’s growing influence and concerns around security and electoral interference here at home also show how geopolitics now reaches directly into Canada’s democracy.
Before the 2025 election, Mark Carney himself called China our largest security threat. Now, his government appears more interested in kowtowing to Beijing than standing up for Canada.
Strength today means strong supply chains, strong energy, and strong alliances with our democratic partners.
Jacob Mantle joins me on The Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast to discuss why Canada must defend its economic sovereignty before it’s too late.

The Prime Minister referred to China our biggest security threat.
February 3, 2026
Before the 2025 federal election, the Prime Minister referred to China our biggest security threat.
After the election, he signs a “strategic partnership.”
What does this mean? 50,000 Chinese EVs, broken promises to secure a deal with the United States, and Canadian jobs are now put at serious risk while farmers still face crushing tariffs.
Canadians deserve a government that puts our country, our workers, and our sovereignty first.
Chris Warkentin MP joins me on the Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast to discuss the ongoing issues with international trade, a recap of the amazing weekend in Calgary that cemented Pierre Poilievre as the right man for the job, and much more.

Today we talk with @Kyle Seeback Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon and Shadow Minister for International Trade.
