Let’s not mince words. Canada is in a recession.
June 2, 2026
Calling it “technical” doesn’t change what Canadians are experiencing. The economy has shrunk in 3 of the last 4 quarters, including two in a row.
Other G7 countries face the same global pressures, yet none are in recession.
This is the result of bad policy choices: higher taxes, anti-development laws, and growing deficits. Household savings are at two-year lows, food bank use has doubled since 2020, and 1/4 Canadians is now food insecure.
Excuses don’t fix economies. Canada needs a reset that restores growth, investment, and affordability.
Greg McLean joins me on the Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast to talk about the recession, what’s driving it, and how we get Canada back on track.

Another Liberal scheme. Another bill for Canadians.
May 12, 2026
The key to a sovereign wealth fund is wealth, and after 11 years of Liberal policies, Canada is anything but wealthy.
While other countries have unleashed their resources to grow their economies, the current government has blocked projects, driven out investment, and piled on nearly $1.3 trillion in debt.
Liberals already created the Canada Infrastructure Bank, Growth Fund, and Defence Bank, and yet Canada still has the worst investment record in the G7.
This is not a sovereign wealth fund. It’s a sovereign debt fund financed on the backs of taxpayers.
Pat Kelly joins me on the Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast to talk about Canada’s investment crisis and how economic growth comes from unleashing the private sector, not growing government bureaucracy.

Canada must defend its economic sovereignty.
March 11, 2026
Canada cannot afford to be naïve in a world where trade is a tool of power.
Authoritarian regimes like China don’t separate commerce from strategy. They use trade, minerals, and finance to pressure free nations and bend them to their will.
India’s growing influence and concerns around security and electoral interference here at home also show how geopolitics now reaches directly into Canada’s democracy.
Before the 2025 election, Mark Carney himself called China our largest security threat. Now, his government appears more interested in kowtowing to Beijing than standing up for Canada.
Strength today means strong supply chains, strong energy, and strong alliances with our democratic partners.
Jacob Mantle joins me on The Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast to discuss why Canada must defend its economic sovereignty before it’s too late.

This is not leadership. This is an empty promise.

The Prime Minister claims to support pipelines, yet laughs when asked who’s actually building one. While Liberals talk, workers lose jobs, investment leaves Canada, and our economy suffers.
Canadians deserve real action and Canadians need their government to act in their best interests.
Blaine Calkins joins me on the Blueprint: Canada’s Conservative Podcast to talk about oil and gas, what the MOU really means for future prosperity, and much more.

The Canadian entrepreneurial spirit is being damaged by costly policies.
January 21, 2025
The capital gains tax inclusion rate was increased by 66% as of June 25th, 2024, by the current government, killing investment and scaring away jobs to south of the border.
It was a bad idea then. It’s an even worse idea now as Canada faces tariff threats from the United States.
Now that the Prime Minister has prorogued Parliament, this tax will not become law before the next election. Yet it is still, lawlessly, being treated as if it were law by CRA.
However, there is a solution.
Under a Conservative government, we will reverse last year’s capital gains tax hike on jobs, homebuilders, investments, farmers, and small businesses, saving 414,000 jobs and $90 billion in GDP.
Watch and listen as my guest, Tracy Gray, and I discuss how the entrepreneurial spirit is being damaged by costly policies, what the numbers have been indicating nationwide, and much more.

The results are in.

In a recent report from the OECD, it is predicted that Canada could very well become the worst-performing advanced economy for the foreseeable future.
Decisions and policies made by the current Government have hindered Canada’s economic wellbeing; pushing us further and further away from keeping up with our allies and other countries in terms of living standards, GDP per capita, labour productivity, and much more.
Watch and listen as my guest, Tracy Gray MP, and I take a closer look at the numbers and discuss what they mean for Canada in the long-term.
