Canada has become significantly less affordable

June 15, 2022

With Canada’s gas prices hitting record highs and prices increasing by 6.8% compared to a year ago, life in Canada has become significantly less affordable. Despite this, Justin Trudeau’s NDP-Liberals insist this is a global phenomenon while refusing to immediately lower gas and food prices by eliminating the carbon tax. While businesses reopen, few Canadians can afford to wait for this government to lift their vindictive mandates, disproportionate restrictions, and ideologically driven taxes. To shed light on this issue we are joined by Philip Lawrence , Member of Parliament for Northumberland—Peterborough South and Shadow Minister for Federal Economic Development Agency for Eastern, Central and Southern Ontario and Dan Albas , Member of Parliament for Central Okanagan—Similkameen—Nicola and Associate Shadow Minister of Finance and Housing Inflation.

Join host and Member of Parliament Jamie Schmale for a look at the hottest topics hitting Canada’s political landscape, and how they might impact Canadians.
