Maternity Leave Benefits

Justin Trudeau’s third wave is now costing parents their crucial time with their newborn children. As new mothers and pregnant women must reapply for EI maternity leave benefits, they may be forced to return to work within weeks of giving birth should they lack the necessary insurable hours. Although the Liberal government has left mothers behind before, it is critical that pregnant women and new mothers can spend time with their children. To shed light on this issue, we are joined by Raquel Dancho Member of Parliament for Kildonan-St. Paul and Shadow Minister for Future Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion.
