Mental Health During the Pandemic

After a year of lockdowns and quarantines, the Liberals voted against providing a data-driven roadmap to safely ease COVID-19 restrictions. Although mental wellness in Canada has been in decline since before the pandemic, over the last year, we have seen a dramatic rise in mental health issues, addictions, substance abuse, domestic violence and opioid overdoses. Today, I am joined by Todd Doherty, MP, MP for Cariboo-Prince George and Special Advisor to the Leader of the Official Opposition on Mental Health and Wellness to shed more light on this issue.
