Support for Small Businesses

November 10, 2020

Small and medium sized businesses are struggling to keep their doors open during the pandemic. To support entrepreneurs and workers, last week Conservatives passed a motion calling on the Trudeau government to postpone wage subsidy audits and to provide additional flexibility in the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy, the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy, and other support programs. Unlike the Trudeau Liberals, who think small businesses are tax cheats, Conservatives know they are the backbone of our communities and key to reigniting the Canadian economy. Today on the Blueprint, I sit down with Pat Kelly, MP for Calgary Rocky Ridge and Shadow Minister for Small Business and Western Economic Development, to discuss how Conservatives are fighting for small businesses and workers.

Join host and Member of Parliament Jamie Schmale for a look at the hottest topics hitting Canada’s political landscape, and how they might impact Canadians.
