Canadians want to work. Businesses need workers. But the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) penalizes workers for picking up shifts. On the Blueprint, host Jamie Schmale talks to Marty Morantz, Shadow Minister for National Revenue, to take a look at the Conservatives’ proposed “Back to Work Bonus,” a gradually phased out CERB top-up for workers who make between $1,000 and $5,000 as businesses reopen.
